 About The Artist

 Name: Arturo Lopez

Date of Birth: Feburary 28, 1980

Location of Birth: Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico

Arturo has always been interested in art and begun taking art classes after school at a very young age. By the time he was in High school, he represented the state of new Mexico in various art competitions held throughout the USA.  Shortly after he left high school he concentrated his time and efforts to spraypainting.  He was often told that spraypainting was limited to creating space sceneries and even though  the complexities of an infinite space are endless he felt they seemed quite limited.

It took Arturo several years of infusing the techniques he had learned in other medias with the new media he had discovered to create this unique style of painting. Thanks to his techniques spraypainting, has evolved and artists are now able to compete with the know medias.

In the early January of 2002, Arturo became a producer for his local Public Broadcasting Station in the city of Albuquerque NM. It wasn't long after the Television series " Spraycasso: the art of spraypaint" aired on channel 27. the show ran successfully for 5 seasons, breaking records making it one of the most watched shows in the area.

He is often refered to as the modern day "Bob Ross" of spraypaint.
